The entrance to the main temple
The Golden Temple is one of the most magnificient buildings I've ever seen in my life. The entire complex is beautiful. The main temple is surrounded by a lake called the 'Sarovar'. Fishes are bred in the lake to keep it clean. A person of any caste, creed or sex can enter the temple premises but on the pretext of having the head covered. The head needs to be covered by a cloth in a proper manner. Couples should not hold hands in the premises as all they should be thinking about is the holy one.
At night it looks even more amazing... The silence is amazing and the temple is truly peaceful.
